About Me

Let’s get the boring bio out of the way first: I was born in South Wales, but moved to East Sussex with my family when barely even a toddler.

My early career was in finance, administration and human resources. Then I worked as a secondary school teaching assistant for three very rewarding yet challenging years. I began writing fiction in 2010 and am a member of Shorelink Writers.

Now for the more interesting bit (I hope):

Turning Points is my debut novel, an historical fiction story about a Welsh girl named Carys Bowen and her life growing up in the 1940s and 50s. The sequel, Doorsteps & Dreams takes Carys’ story up to 1963.

My third novel is a complete departure from historical fiction. Splitting Infinities is a general/psychological fiction novel about a woman who… goodness, I nearly gave the storyline away! Click on this link to navigate to my Splitting Infinities page for more details! I am currently in the final stages of writing my fourth novel Vibes which I hope to publish in June/July 2017.

To receive news feeds on my latest information and promotions (including free book days), go to www.facebook.com/SianTurnerAuthor and ‘like’ the page.

My ebooks are available from Amazon, Smashwords, Ibooks, Kobo and Barnes & Noble (Click on your preferred retailer to go directly to my novels). Splitting Infinities is also available in paperback from Amazon.

If you have enjoyed one or more of my books, please (pretty please?) visit the online retailer you purchased it from and spend a few minutes adding a review. It makes a big difference in helping other readers decide whether or not to buy it themselves. A BIG thank you to any of you who have already reviewed my books.

I’m always glad to hear from readers, so if you’d like to contact me, please follow this link to my Contact Sian page and send me a message. I look forward to hearing from you!
